I was transfixed by these chairs in the food court at the Abasto mall for some reason. I liked the colors and the two little eye holes.

And, while I was sitting in one of these chairs and eating my ice cream, I was flipping through a free newspaper on cinema and saw an ad for an event happening that evening at the main library: the silent film El Acorazado Potemkin (The Battleship Potemkin, 1925) was being shown with a live piano score by Pablo Rotemberg. I headed over there after consulting my trusty Guia T (more on this later) for which bus to take. I got there earlier than I intended, but it turned out that there was a huge queue of people already waiting. I was over 30 minutes early--I had no idea this would be so popular! I was lucky to get a seat. Many devoted fans watched the whole performance while standing. The piano accompaniment was great--a true pleasure to have a live score.
