At the end of the street, you can see the Obelisk (more photos later). This is Avenida Corrientes. You can see a bunch of cabs (the black and yellow cars). Someone remarked that Buenos Aires was like N.Y.C. but in Spanish...well, there certainly were a lot of cabs!

Speaking of cabs...my goodness! Driving in Buenos Aires was insane. There did appear to be lines on the streets, but maybe the drivers didn't notice them? There was much lane changing and maneuvering between very small spaces. It felt like a surreal video game at times. I was never in an accident, and I never figured out how that was possible given the creative driving occurring all around me!
