| This was Orquestra Beba Pugliese at Salon Dorado at the cultural center in the old Prensa building. They played traditional tango music. It was such a charming performance. The audience was mostly comprised of older Buenos Aires residents who knew all the songs and clearly enjoyed the show. Their enthusiasm made the show all the more enjoyable for the rest of us, who were less familiar with the tunes.
The Cultural Agenda that is published weekly and distributed at the cultural center at Avenida de Mayo 575 is a great place to find events like this, many of which are free. |
