After hitting the two museums, I went to "Gallery Night". Along Arroyo/Esmerelda streets in Retiro on the last Friday of the month, the galleries stay open late. I wasn't too thrilled with the art in most galleries, but there was one that had some art I enjoyed. The highlight was this store that had some amazing hip and retro pieces for sale. When I saw this movie poster from the street, I thought, "aha, the perfect gift for my sister and her husband" because they are both film buffs who like noir films and cool poster art. My plan was foiled when I found out they wanted 2,000 pesos (for it $600US) for it! Everything in that store was ridiculously overpriced, but at the same time it was all very classy and wonderful stuff. Suffice to say, the poster stayed in the store, but I took a photo of it from the street.
