Here is some background information from the web about the band: "Luciano Supervielle was born in Paris and grew up in Montevideo, Uruguay. Supervielle is the youngest member of the Bajofondo Tango Club, an ensemble that has been creating some of the finest music to be found in all of South America. He plays keyboards and composes a lot of the group's music. Mr. Supervielle dubs his unique unclassifiable style as "Uruguayan hip hop", but he also uses elements of Astor Piazzolla - like tangos along with electronica and rock. His recent release Supervielle is sure to be as popular as the other Bajofondo Tango Club releases." I looked around for the "Bajofondo tangoclub presenta... Supervielle" CD. A few stores told me they didn't have it. I wandered into a MusiMundo (a big music chain in Buenos Aires) and saw they had a poster for the album so I figured they must have it there. I asked the sales clerk and pointed to the poster just so she'd be clear about what I was looking for. She looked in a couple of spots and didn't find it. She checked the computer, and it looked like they had it in stock. She looked in a few more spots and finally found a copy in the overstock area under one of the racks. It was in the 'dance' section, as I recall. It's a pretty good record if you like tango-fusion music.
